OrsaCMS

Orsa Studio develops and uses our own company created open source CMS (Content Management System) called Orsa CMS. OrsaCMS has its own website here at http://www.orsacms.org/.

 
The CMS has the following features:

1. OrsaCMS is easy to Use

OrsaCMS is simple and easy to use, it works within the web browser and gives immediate access to the page contents for editing. For many people this ease of use is the most important feature. This is shown in the following image of the CMS working in the web browser. (more features follow after the image, so keep scrolling down).
 

 

2. Supporting news and events

Apart from normal page contents, another two popular content types are news items and event items. These two items are often on the home page and are associated with a date and time.

3. Image management

Images can be uploaded and managed online.

4. OrsaCMS is open source

Open source means the software is free to download and own for ANYONE, we do not charge for the open source version of OrsaCMS software as this can be downloaded freely. Anyone can develop or change OrsaCMS including other individuals or companies since it is free to download and use. This gives your company some rights and freedoms which normal commercial software does not provide. It even allows you to select other I.T. vendors over Orsa Studio, who are able to develop with OrsaCMS to provide the CMS system. This provides a competitive environment which is good for both customers and the quality of OrsaCMS.

Orsa Studio provides commercial installation, customization and support options for OrsaCMS where we charge for the services rendered but do not charge for the software itself, the OrsaCMS software is totally free software.
